School Meals

Children are offered a range of tasty and healthy school meals that are prepared freshly, on site every day by Chartwells. Lunch consists of a main meal (hot and cold with vegetarian options), pudding and water or milk.

School meals are free of charge to all Infant children (from Reception to Year 2, inclusive). For more information please view the Government webpage. Parents pay for KS2 meals via ParentPay.

Even though school meals are free to Infants, it is vital that all parents / carers who are entitled to benefits still fill out the Free School Meal form , for every year that they are entitled (i.e. from Reception to Year 6). Our school will only receive additional funding if this form is completed. Please refer to our Pupil Premium page for information about how this additional funding has been spent to help your children.

EYFS and KS1 children benefit from the national free fruit and vegetables scheme and are provided with this on a daily basis to eat at break time. KS2 children are encouraged to bring in a healthy fruit or veg snack for morning break. Early Years children are also entitled to a free serving of milk up until their fifth birthday, which parents need to sign up to, via Cool Milk.
